Went for a full day's invigilation today till abt 6pm..accompanied Ming Si to buy sushi at great world city b4 making my way to Ang Mo Kio to collect this!!!

Titanium Soundwave! Pls note tt dis pic is taken by my hp...not bad rite? Quite clear...haha...if u look closely can see a bit of my reflection =p Got this at only $35! A real bargain I muz say...ebay's average selling price is abt $60...made my way to People's Park OG after tt...

The first place I go when I reach OG is of coz the toys section! They are selling deep space starscream at only $24.90! (normal $49.90) I saw this guy buying a few of the starscream pieces...the way he was checking for e paintjobs & those scouting eyes...there is no doubt, he is a bloody FISHER! A FISHER is someone who buys toys/accessories at low prices then sells them off for profits...he does not choose nor keeps the toys bcoz he likes them, he does it solely for $$$

Seeing an actual FISHER in action really turns me off...eeeeyer...dun like him...it was then when i saw them!

Movie Deluxe 'Big Daddy' & 'Grindcore'...dis is the first time i see them in a retail store...they are not really tt rare but they are quite hard to find in stores...I quickly took them juz to prevent the damn FISHER from getting his hands on them! Hehe...Im pretty sure he will buy them as they r oso going for a low price of $16.90(normal $26.90)...in fact, he kept eyeing them while I was holding them...irritating! =p

So in the end, I decided to 'save' them from the FISHER by buying them! lol...it was not for my own self-interest(not totally)...I juz really dun wan them to fall into e hands of an unfeeling FISHER...anyway, I rem there's a collector on ebay who is looking for Grindcore, maybe i could juz do a trade with him...find a new home for Grindcore, owed by someone who appreciates toys...lol =)

Saw this DVD at the shop juz above CK dpt store...张国荣's last movie b4 he left dis world... "异度空间"...I rem tt is quite a scary show and yes, it is selling only for $3! So I bought it home! Tried to look for 刘青云's "双瞳"...but dun haf...sadded..."双瞳" is a horror show vv similar to "异度空间"...anyone who happen to see "双瞳" in any shops let me noe k? ARIGATO!

Accompanied Lynn to Coasta Sands chalet today to help her check in the rooms for NTU's UOC(Union Orientation Camp)...the silly gal 怕鬼...dun dare go alone...lol...called me at almost midnight last nite...she heng I today free...hehe...and I'm not afraid of ghosts...more like ghosts afraid of me =p

We had lunch at Marina's 旺角Cafe b4 making our way to Pasir Ris...settled everything in abt 30mins...Im efficient leh...怎么说我也做logistics for camps so many yrs liao...experienced one leh...haha...then e silly gal wan eat Mac's sundae & fries...when both of us were still quite full from e lunch we had a while ago...OMG! Struggled to finish e fries! Bought food to torment ourselves...lol...

After tt I went to meet 佩真 at bugis library...wanted to eat dinner with her after borrowing books but she had to rush home...her brother sick so nd her buy dinner back for him...so we only spent abt 30mins borrowing books then 就分手了...did not get to eat dinner with her AGAIN! 嗨! 我们俩始终没有缘分... =p

Well, after parting with 佩真 I decided to walk to suntec myself...it was after i got there when i received a sms from my 小妹 saying tt she juz watched X-FILES with SK...hmm...it seems tt I got e date of release wrong! Went right to the Eng Wah cinema at suntec to check it out & realised tt X-FILES is out today! OMG! I saw tt e next screening time is only 10 mins later...so wad did I do? No prize for dis easy guess! YESH! I bought a ticket! =)

Well, X-FILES is an ok show only...slightly disappointed abt e weak plot...but I still love e chemistry btw Mulder & Scully...reminiscence of e TV series abt a decade ago...how come they still look so young ah? e wonders of science...lol...

Dark Knight

Watched Dark Knight yest at Cineleisure...Super GOOD show! e best superhero movie I watched so far...spiderman bites dust! lol...it beat spidey at the box office too anyway...well, Heath Ledger as the Joker is juz amazing...his acting is 没话说...pity we wun get to see him again in e next installment...sadded...highly recommended show... 5 STARS!!! =)

Went to JB today with BFG...ate Soon Huat Bak Ku Tey as usual...but dis time we went to a 分行...I find e food juz as nice as e main branch but 塞塞 say e soup tastes different...dunno lah...haha...

After lunch we went to RedBox! JB's version of Kbox...got student package oso...but e price is juz amazing...picture dis, we sang for 5 hrs...had 2 drinks each...e usual titbits...and it amounted to only SGD$5 each! OMG! Can u believe it? SGD$5! tt is like SGD$1 per hr! JB is a gd place man! if only e crime rate isn't so high...lol...


After tt we went to eat seafood for dinner! Super cheap seafood too! We had butter crayfish(my fav), chilli crab, steamed grouper, chilli 'lala', oats prawns & 'Kai Lan' veggies...it amounted to abt SGD$18 each! Really cheap considering e sumptuous food we ate! Yum Yum! super full lor!

Got a little surprise when i reached home at 11plus juz nw...a gigantic package is waiting for me on my desk...wad could it be? (actually I more or less noe wad it is le)



Its my Titanium Starscream & Megatron! Woohoo! I got them real cheap at ard USD$35 after shipping...a great bargain considering tt titanium sets r now selling for abt SGD$60 each in singapore...u do e math =)

P/S: When we were riding bus 170 back to kranji mrt from JB, saw something real interesting at the rear seats of the bus...there was an used condom on the corner seat! Haha...apparently a couple had some 'fun' at e back of bus...wanted to take a pic but too crowded on e bus...no chance...wonder if its msians or singaporeans who did it...lol...i hope its e latter... =p

Watched 赤壁 yest at jp...quite nice...but apparently not very historically accurate...well, I'll definitely catch e sec installment at e end of e yr... =)

OMG! Its Slumble Bee & Softimus Prime! Aren't they cute? The only 2 transforming plushies in the whole wide world! I tink it has been more than 15 years since I am so excited over a couple of plushies! Wahaha...I got them from UK...took them abt 2 weeks to fly here!

This post is dedicated to answering my beloved 小妹's question abt $$$...here's my two cents' worth... (I apologize for anyone not involved & is puzzled by this entry) =p

In my opinion, I agree with 小妹 that whether or not we split the meal's cost will juz haf to be determined according to situation...I dun haf to elaborate on dis...juz use ur common sense...

The main issue here should be when & how do we communicate dis? At times for some of us, we feel tt it is alrite to split cost, even when there might be times someone else feels tt it is unfair...I will haf to agree with 塞塞 that in such a situation, please do speak up...I am not a worm in your stomachs, neither am I able to read your minds(if only)...lol...

Do not feel paiseh...no one is gonna judge you bcoz of this...if there is anyone who is gonna tink bad of you bcoz you spoke up, then that person isn't worth sharing food with, so you might as well calculate every cent with that person... =)

I oso agree with 小妹 that to be close frens, you haf to be OPEN with each other...but ppl do it in different ways, maybe SK's juying gang does it their way...does not necessarily mean we haf to do it e same way...I dun mean to say we should follow them or they should follow us, but juz simply that the gist should be abt being OPEN...

So even though it is a sensitive issue, it will be much easier & effective if we discuss dis together face-to-face...I'd really like to hear everyone's honest feelings & opinions...

P/S: Juz a little note, ppl dun always perceive correctly wad u write in words...so to avoid misintepretations from reading...post wadever u wanna say now but we shall tok abt dis again when we meet k? (^^,)

Sometimes I wonder if it is me who is getting old or is it Mamee...lol...tink she is worried coz I nv pak tor at all...Wahaha...somehow I have a feeling that it has something to do with me telling my dad b4 that I dun wanna get married... =p

Went to this interesting Bubble Tea shop at Toa Payoh today...from first peek, it doesn't look any different from any bubble tea shop...except maybe that the Waffles are super cheap! e choc waffle is only selling at $1.00...while other fillings like peanut, butter is only 80 cents! =)

Surprise no 1! The auntie actually uses a household gas stove to cook e waffle! Never see b4 rite? The results? E waffle I had was extra crispy! Nice!

Surprise no 2! What do you see on e right of the gas stove? Am I seeing things? CLAYPOTS?

WHAT! Claypot chicken rice? lol...I can say with full confidence that this Bubble Tea Shop is the only one in Singapore that sells Claypot chicken rice!!! Wahaha...

P/S: the 'stunning' model u see on e right is the legendary Braart Master, Chocolang 师父...I had actually considered shrinking the pic horizontally to make her face look slimmer but my conscience forbidden me to *evil laughter* Pookie say we shall try e claypot chicken rice b4 e end of our attachment! With extra pearls! LOL... =)

Nihon Mura + Hancock

Played mj at sk house...then went to Nihon Mura, a jap restaurant at e jurong west stadium...I've always hear yiquan tok abt Nihon Mura but dis is e first time I eating there...Its a GREAT place! e sushi r only 99cents per plate & e general price range is lower than other restaurants...got Coke/spirit float tt is only $2 each! Cheap cheap! I ate a strawberry oreo ice cream at only $3.50! Cheap Cheap! when sch reopens I confirm going back there to eat! =)

Sunday

Went swimming in e morning with Han...after which I went to Tampines myself to catch Hancock...Yiquan & Han tell me Hancock nt nice...ask me dun watch...but I 'steel teeth' leh, feel like watching...I like Will Smith shows...tink he's a rather gd actor...well, after watching Hancock...I feel tt it isnt a fantastic show but its nt as bad as wad yiquan say lah...I dun recommend it though, if u juz wanna pass time like me...there r better shows out there...hehe...

There was a Hokkaido fair at Tampines mall...selling lotsa foodstuff from Hokkaido...went to take a look...the food all vv exp...got the giant king crab at $130! then there's dis small bento set with e crab meat selling for $29.90! Siao one lor...but I tink my dad will like e bento set...cant be filial son as Im broke...so too bad 老爸 ...cant buy for u... =p

Tml will be e last 2 weeks of attachment le...some of e lucky ppl with 8 weeks attachm alrdy 脱离苦海 liao...& still got PA report to write...& e YV franchise to prepare! 我会加油的! (try lor =p)

YV Franchise...

Met up with Xueping & Vick yesterday to discuss the YV franchise thingy...very long nv see Vick le, an old precious gem of a friend I found from volunteering...he's rather busy now with NDP preparations, volunteering as a trainer...had a great time catching up wiith him... =)

Its been quite some time since I am involved in direct volunteering, tink almost a year le...since my return from India last year...well, I guess as we all grow older, compassion's opportunity costs really rises...I rem writing abt dis concept of compassion in today's society in one of my GP essay...guess my theory is right after all, but I noe dis is no excuse...there is always time for volunteering...juz like Vick does...

Vick said that ppl always asks him, "为什么你要做这种东西, 都没有钱的...."

I tell Vick to reply them next time, "有些东西, 就算你有钱也不一定做的到...我做到了..."


Vick is certainly a volunteer worthy of these words, so KUDOS to Vick! & may our YV franchise work out really well!!! (^^,)















P/S: I wanna watch Hancock & 赤壁...anyone wanna watch too can msg me...if nt I'll juz find a time to watch alone...hehe =p

Kung Fu Registration

Went to sch to register subjects with Pookie & Chocolang...lol...first time I am registering in sch, tink I muz be crazy....coz usually Im not so ethu abt my timetable, Im super optimistic & always tink tt e slots can be adjusted during add/drop period...hehe =p Anyway it was quite fun as we count down together to the system time, clicking e button & waiting for e page to reveal our destiny! Met Vivian & Angelala in FAL! glad to noe tt they r doing well in their attachments too! Angelala tml last day of attachment le...me so jealous... =p

After having lunch at jp, we watched Kungfu Panda at marina...yah I noe we vv lag, after so long then watch...but actually I wasnt gonna watch it lor, if not for Pookie & Chocolang...But I really enjoyed e show! Its super funny! I like Master Oogway! "There is no accident...you must believe in the dragon warrior..." =)

Pookie ambushed Chocolang & me yest by treating us to the movie...make us so paiseh...really dun nd lor...but Pookie refuses to take our $$$...Well, Pookie better watch out from now on, we will definitely find a chance to ambush u back! Thkz Pookie for e treat! (^^,)

Well, act I do still live my days rather non-chalantly...juz eat, sleep, go office...I oso dun wanna tink so much le...maybe all of u should juz follow my example...there is no nd to brood over anything...juz let things be... 命里有时, 终须有...命里无时, 莫强求...

Especially now, I really do feel that wad Lang says really makes sense...sometimes, we juz haf to let ppl handle their own emotions...u can't always be tinking for e person...u can't always be helping e person sort things out...

朗也说了一句我觉得很有道理的话...虽然很简单, 但我却往往没有深思过...

如果你说的话是重要的, 对那个人有意义的话, 你并不需要一直重复...那个人会牢牢放在心里...既然你在那个人的心里一点份量也没有...那又何苦折磨自己呢?
