Went to try out Fullerton Hotel's dim sum buffet today with Han bro, BK & Minyu...e place was really small but rather cosy...not too bad...here r some of e special dim dum I tried...

Xiao long bao with foie gras...looks like a normal xiao long bao but has a faint taste of foie gras...
verdict: 4/5

Siew Mai with mini abalone...e texture is lacking...but e mini abalone on top makes up for it...would be better if e prawn meat were more 'Q'...
verdict: 3/5

Fried Cheesy dumpling...deep fried sweet sticky mua chee skin enveloping melted cheese within...nv see b4...plus points for e novelty...but cant eat too much, little on e sweet side...
verdict: 3.5/5

Coffee ribs...great for those who love coffee as e coffee taste is pretty overwhelming...crispy on e outside, soft on e inside...one of e best coffee ribs I tried so far...
verdict: 4/5

Shark fins soup...each person is limited to only 1 serving of e specialty soup...I chose e shark fins soup & regretted it... nothing special abt dis dish...in fact, its not as nice as those tt i eat during wedding banquets...only plus point, lotsa bite-sized shark fins...
verdict: 2.5/5

Sze Chuan Sweet & Sour soup...another of e specialty soup which bk & minyu chose...typical sze chuan sweet & sour soup...very spicy & sour...pretty shiok...I should haf chosen dis...damn!
verdict: 3.5/5

Water chestnut desserts...cant rem e exact name of dis dessert but it was really a pleasant surprise...not too sweet & not too bland...crunchy water chestnuts with some beancurd skin...only drawback is tt e serving is too small...lol...i could eat 5 of this!
verdict: 4/5

Seriously for a 6-star hotel, I expected much better dim sum than dis...though e varieties & ingredients used were rather impressive, e dim sums were not particularly tasty...I've had much better dim sum in normal chinese restaurants...slightly disappointed but at abt $28++ per pax, its fairly reasonable...
Final verdict: 3.5/5
